Authentic 19th-century French faux bamboo mirror with its original glass and wooden frame, beautifully aged with a soft honey patina.
Crafted in the late 1800s, this mirror captures the charm of the Victorian and Japonisme-inspired design era, when bamboo-style carving became a symbol of travel, nature, and craftsmanship.
The mirror plate shows lovely light foxing and age speckles, adding to its authentic wabi-sabi character. One corner shows a small chip on the carved bamboo edge , consistent with age and use, and part of its timeless appeal.
Perfect for layering in vintage interiors, bathrooms, or entryways, or as part of a gallery wall with European antiques.
