Designed by Alexandre Kourilsky for Habitat’s 20th Anniversary Design Competition (Concours 20 ans Habitat, 1993), this sculptural wall hook pairs curved aluminium arms with a teardrop-shaped wood centre, embodying the clean lines and functionality of early-1990s French modernist design.
Marked on the reverse:
“A. Kourilsky – Concours 20 ans – Habitat 1993.”
Each hook is sold individually, though up to three are available. These pieces are increasingly rare and make elegant design accents — both utilitarian and collectible.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with light surface wear and minor imperfections consistent with age. Small paint loss on reverse (see photos). Structurally sound and fully functional.
Props not included.
Styling Tips:
• Use as a standalone sculptural wall hook or group several for a cohesive, minimalist statement.
• Ideal for entryways, studios, or gallery-style interiors.
• A must-have for collectors of Habitat or French modern design.
